Beauty With Edge: The Epic Kiss Launch
KVD Beauty, born from tattoo artistry culture, continues to push boundaries in the beauty industry. Under Kendo Brands' leadership, their commitment to vegan, cruelty-free, and sustainable beauty practices speaks to a new generation of conscious consumers.


GOAL
Launch Epic Kiss Nourishing Vegan Butter Lipstick and position it as a rule-breaking hybrid — bold pigment with balm-like comfort — during KVD's brand transition toward a more modern, inclusive identity.
OUR SOLUTION
We engineered the packaging as a handbag in disguise: a structured box that signals luxury before it's even opened. Dramatic photography, cropped hard and saturated deep, makes the outside feel like a editorial cover. Open it, and oversized lipstick smears bloom across the interior — rich, sensory, and impossible to ignore. Lipstick shades line up for easy selection alongside earrings and product details, turning the unboxing into a full brand experience.
RESULT
Epic Kiss launched to strong reviews and enthusiastic consumer reception, reinforcing KVD's evolution into a bolder, more inclusive brand.
