GOOGLE: Transforming SMB APP Engagement
Google, with its vast ecosystem of digital solutions, sought to help small and medium-sized businesses maximize their app campaign performance. The challenge was to transform complex best practices into accessible, actionable guidance that would resonate with busy business owners.

Small business owners often lack the time and technical expertise to fully optimize their app campaigns. Google needed a way to communicate sophisticated marketing strategies in an engaging, digestible format. The campaign had to balance educational content with practical implementation while maintaining the friendly, approachable Google brand voice.

We developed an innovative email campaign that reimagined how technical content could be delivered:
Interactive Design: Leveraging AMP for Email technology, we created expandable content sections that allowed users to explore topics at their own pace. This revolutionary approach reduced email length while increasing engagement, letting busy entrepreneurs focus on relevant information.
Dynamic Visuals: Custom animations at each email header served as visual anchors, immediately capturing attention and setting the tone for the content below. These playful yet professional motion graphics brought energy to technical topics while reinforcing key messages.
Strategic Storytelling: We developed a comprehensive visual system combining Google's brand elements with custom illustrations. Each visual element was carefully crafted to guide readers through complex concepts, creating a cohesive narrative that made best practices feel achievable and appealing.Design Execution



Animation Storyboards
Working closely with Google's brand guidelines, we developed a sophisticated yet playful animation system that would transform each campaign email from informative to unforgettable.
Motion Architecture: Eight unique storyboards were crafted, each beginning with foundational elements from Google's visual language. These basic shapes - circles, squares, and triangles in Google's signature colors - served as the building blocks for more complex narratives.
Seamless Transitions: Through careful choreography, these elementary forms evolved into detailed, purpose-driven illustrations. Each transformation was precisely timed to create moments of surprise and delight while maintaining clear visual connections to the email's core message.
